SWJS strives to create policies reflecting inclusiveness, respect, safety and accountability. As a new organization, we are in the process of development. Here you will find the policies currently in effect.

SWJS Respectful Environment Policy

SWJS is committed to providing a safe and respectful setting for those who participate in SWJS activities, including customers, instructors, volunteers and support personnel.

SWJS Privacy Policy

Swing West Jazz Society (SWJS, or the Society) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information that is collected by the Society. The purpose is to assure anyone who does business with us that the Society complies with BC's Personal Information and Privacy Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).  This policy explains how SWJS will collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information.

SWJS Conflict of Interest Policy

It is the policy of the Swing West Jazz Society (" The Society " or " SWJS") that all directors, officers, contractors, staff members, consultants and volunteers of SWJS (each a "Representative") act within guidelines that prohibit actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.
